I started a series of small ink drawings in 2018 as a counteraction to the design training that prioritizes concepts over actions. To develop the drawings, I would put random strokes on paper without clear images in mind, and then react to those strokes by adding more strokes, until clearer images emerged. 

In 2022, I revisited this experiment by first tracing the footings of <You Are Living Someone Else’s Dream>, then mapping them onto the 4’-2” by 6’-5” paper and using that as the starting point to develop this large-scale ink drawing.
